Name of Participant: Birth Date: I understand that my continued participation in the Program is subject to my abiding by all Rules and Regulations established by the Yacht Club, and its designated supervisors, staff, and instructors, for the conduct of the Program. I promise to cooperate with, and follow the directions of, the Yacht Club's designated supervisors, staff, and instructors conducting the Program activities and to act in a manner consistent with the spirit of good sportsmanship and respect for both the rights of others and for the property of others In particular, I understand that all of the following are prohibited at all times during the Program, and I promise not to do any of the following: (1) Possession or consumption of alcoholic beverages; (2) Possession or in-taking marijuana, or the possession or use of other illegal drugs; (3) Leaving Yacht Club property without prior permission of one of the Yacht Club's designated supervisors for the Program I further understand that if I break this promise, my parents / guardian will be notified and I will be immediately dismissed from the Program.
As a parent / guardian of an AYC Junior Week participant, I have read and understand the Participant Pledge above and I also agree to abide by the AYC Junior Week Alcoholic Beverage Policy stated below: Junior Week Alcoholic Beverage Policy All Adults agree to adhere to the AYC Junior Week Alcoholic Beverage policy: a. All minors are strictly prohibited from consuming any alcoholic beverage on Club property. No Member, instructor, or other adult shall knowingly serve or furnish, or knowingly permit any guest or other person to serve or furnish, any alcoholic beverage on Club property to any minor b. Adults who have attained the age of majority shall refrain from the use of alcoholic beverages in the presence of Juniors and on common Club grounds (i.e. Clubhouse, Point, Docks, etc.) throughout Junior Week.. c. No illegal substances (i.e. drugs) are allowed on Club property
