1. Rules

• 1.1. The Regatta will be governed by the rules as defined in The Racing Rules of Sailing.

• 1.2. The Championship Rules and Regulations as modified 9/11/06 for the AYC Club Championship will apply.

2. Eligibility

• 2.1.In addition to those qualified under the 2003 Championship Rules and Regulations, the current 2007 Women's and Junior Champions are eligible to enter without affecting his or her own fleet in any way.

3. Class

• 3.1 Competitors will sail Thistles. Each Skipper will personally borrow a boat, race the same boat throughout the series and not sail his or her own boat.

4. Registration

• 4.1 Registration will be at the Skippers Meeting.

• 4.2 AYC Fleet Sailing Instructions will be used and will be available at the Skippers Meeting.

6. Scoring

• 6.1 Scoring will be in accordance with the Appendix A, Low Point System. Five Races are scheduled. Three must be completed to constitute a Regatta.

7. Prizes

• 7.1 Trophies will be awarded to the skippers and crew of the top three finishing yachts.

8. Safety

• 8.1 The Atlanta Yacht Club strongly recommends competitors wear a US Coast Guard approved PFD.
