1. Rules

• 1.1 The Regatta will be governed by the rules as defined in The Racing Rules of Sailing.

• 1.2 The Championship Rules and Regulations for the AYC Women's Championship will apply.

2. Eligibility

• 2.1 Any female who is a Member of the Atlanta Yacht Club or is the wife or dependant of a Member shall be eligible as a skipper. All crew members must be female.

3. Class

• 3.1 Competitors will sail in the Thistle class dingy. Each Skipper will personally borrow a boat, race the same boat throughout the series and not sail her own boat.

4. Registration

• 4.1 Skippers will register by 8/23 by calling Jim Roberts at 770-917-0059 or emailing him at robertsnole@hotmail.com

• 4.2 AYC Fleet Sailing Instructions will be used and will be available at the Skippers Meeting.

5. Schedule Of Events

6. Scoring

• 6.1 Scoring will be in accordance with the Appendix A Low Point System. Three Races are scheduled. One must be completed to constitute a Regatta.

7. Prizes

• 7.1 Trophies will be awarded to the skippers and crews of the three top finishing yachts.

8. Safety

• 8.1 The Atlanta Yacht Club strongly recommends the use of US Coast Guard approved PFD's.
