If your application for membership is approved, the Boat and Trailer Parking Committee, will assign boat parking spaces to you based upon this information. You will receive parking place assignments for your boat(s) with or shortly after you receive approval of your membership application. Please do not park any boats at the AYC until receiving parking space assignment, now or in the future.

Notes:

1. If you have more than one boat, your sail boat will always be considered your "first" boat and parking space fees will be assessed for additional assigned spaces.

2. The assignment of boat parking places follows the priority listing below and if there are insufficient parking places for all boats owned by members more than one space may not be available for assignment to you:

a. Actively raced one-design seaworthy sailboats of the active fleets at AYC,

b. Other seaworthy sail boats,

c. Frequently used seaworthy power boats,

d. Infrequently used seaworthy boats, and

e. Safe, operable trailers for moored seaworthy boats.

3. You are referred to the CONSTITUTION AND BY LAWS and the RULES AND REGULATIONS for further information. Your Sponsors have copies of these documents; you will be issued a copy when your membership is approved.

The information listed above will constitute a formal request for boat parking and/or storage privileges on AYC Property. I understand that I will not park or store any boat (or personal water craft) on AYC property until my Membership has been Approved Before my application for membership is approved, except that I may be assigned a temporary parking space for one boat of an AYC fleet class if requested by the AYC Fleet Captain, and I have been formally notified of my assigned parking and/or storage space by the Boat Parking Chairperson.

Two copies will be completed and attached to membership application when submitted to the Membership Committee. One copy as completed by applicant will be retained by the Membership Committee.

One copy will be sent to the Boat and Trailer Parking Committee who will assign parking space(s), notify the AYC Treasurer and return approved application to  applicant.
