First sailed in 1953, the AYC Snipe Halloween Regatta is nationally known for a spooktacular weekend of fun and racing competition that comes with AYC's hospitality and sailors from across the country. Come experience Halloween AYC style!

The Snipe Halloween Regatta is the scene for great sailing as well as fun evening parties and activities. This event is kid-friendly, so bring the family to AYC for a fabulous Halloween!
This regatta is open to boats that are properly registered with SCIRA for the 2025 calendar year and registered skippers in good standing for 2025. Become a member of the Snipe Class.
The base registration fee to sail Halloween with us is $75. Register your boat and also select the meals you would like for skipper, crew and any non-sailing participants. Note: The Friday Night chili dinner, and Saturday post sailing drinks at the Viewing Pavilion are included gratis for all sailors thanks to Snipe Fleet 330! Please include your participation in these as you register online so we can manage quantities.
Register for the regatta and meals by end of day, Wednesday, October 21. If you decide you want to come sail with us after October 21, come on! You can still join us, BUT there is an additional late registration fee of $15, and we may not be able to offer you meals. But come sail with us!

FRIDAY – October 23
6:00 - 9:00 pm Halloween Regatta Registration at the clubhouse.
6:00 - 8:00 pm Traditional Halloween regatta Chili dinner - all complimentary and prepared by Snipe Fleet 330 chefs.
6:30 - 8:00 pm Kid's crafts and Trick or Treating!
SATURDAY – October 24
7:45am - 8:30am Complimentary Breakfast for Junior Halloween Regatta participants.
8:00 – 8:30am Junior Halloween Regatta Registration - AYC Clubhouse. Complimentary breakfast for participants.
8:45 am Junior Competitors Meeting at the Signal Barge on Dock #3.
9:00-10:00 am In-Person Registration for Halloween Regatta.
9:30 am Start Sequence for First Junior Race.
11:00 am Competitors Meeting at the Clubhouse.
11:30 - 12:30 pm Lunch - Grilled Cheese & Soup Bar at the Clubhouse
1:30pm Warning signal for 1st race of day, 2nd race to follow.
We welcome sailors back from an afternoon of races with the traditional Halloween Hot Buttered Rum/Specialty Drinks! Take a short walk from the dock to join us at the Point Viewing Pavilion.
6:00 pm Cheshire Cat Bar - compliments of the Snipe Fleet
6:30 pm Halloween Feast: Gourmet Nacho / Taco Bar, Salad & Dessert
8:30 - 11:30 pm Costume Contest & Dancing!
SUNDAY – October 25
7:45 - 8:45 am Hot coffee & breakfast at the Clubhouse!
9:30 am Warning Signal for 1st race of day.
12:00 pm (or ~45 minutes after the Signal Barge docks)
Lunch - Build-Your-Best lunch bar at the Clubhouse
